Rutland Building Services was formed in 2001 by Building Surveyor James Dodson; carrying out the construction of small to medium sized alterations to various local properties, and maintenance and repair works for several local charity housing associations.

With the success and growth of the first five years of trading coupled with the now excellent reputation which it had earned it began to take on larger contracts along with our own new build developments.

Some of our previous projects can be seen here on the website showing a good mix of the varied type of work we carry out; from domestic alterations, barn conversions, new build contracts, ecclesiastical works, maintenance and repair of listed properties, offices, industrial units and agricultural buildings. The majority of our work comes from personal recommendation from previous customers, many of which we have now completed a number of projects for.

We pride ourselves in our customer driven working practices with a high level of communication throughout the entirety of all projects, ensuring our highly skilled work force and long established list of trusted subcontractors are looking after the customer’s requirements.

We can also offer a “turn key” design and build service giving our customers the luxury of a complete service with one point of contact throughout any size of construction project.
